Paws & Claws Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of pawsandclaws.app and the Paws & Claws service. By creating an account or making a booking you accept them. Questions? Email hello@pawsandclaws.app.
1. The service
Paws & Claws is a booking platform that connects pet owners with vetted, independent local walkers and pet carers around the UK. You pick a time; we automatically match the best available walker to your pet. Services include dog walks, solo walks, pet pop-in visits and daycare, with home care available by enquiry.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Keep your login details safe — bookings made from your account are yours. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@pawsandclaws.app.
3. Bookings & payment
The price shown at booking is the walker’s rate for the selected service, plus any service fee shown before you pay. Payment is taken securely by Stripe, and a booking is confirmed only once payment succeeds.
Cancellation and refund terms are those shown at checkout for your booking.
4. Walkers & the Care Agreement
Walkers are independent providers, not Paws & Claws employees. Before they can accept bookings we verify a DBS check and public liability insurance.
Every booking is also governed by the Paws & Claws Care Agreement, which sets out care of the dog, the owner’s declarations, liability and emergencies. You accept it at booking; you can read it any time at pawsandclaws.app/care-agreement.
5. Using the service fairly
Don’t provide false information, misuse the platform, or treat walkers disrespectfully. We may suspend accounts that put dogs, walkers or owners at risk.
6. Liability
We work hard to keep Paws & Claws reliable, but the service is provided as-is and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Responsibility for the dog during a service is set out in the Care Agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, and consumers keep all their statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Intellectual property
The Paws & Claws name, logo, design and content belong to Paws & Claws and may not be reused without permission.
8. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. We may update these terms; the version date above will change and significant updates will be announced by email or in the app.
