Paws & Claws Care Agreement
This agreement is between the dog owner (‘the Owner’) and the Paws & Claws walker assigned to the booking (‘the Walker’), for dog walking or daycare around Kent. By booking, the Owner accepts the terms below.
1. The service & care of the dog
The Walker agrees to walk or care for the Owner’s dog at the booked time, giving it reasonable care and attention.
During the service the Walker is responsible for the dog in their care. The Owner authorises the Walker to take charge of the dog, including keeping it on or off lead as agreed and appropriate for safety.
2. The Owner’s declarations
The Owner confirms that the information given about the dog is accurate; that the dog is microchipped and its vaccinations are up to date; and that, to the Owner’s knowledge, the dog presents no danger of aggression and no health condition that could harm the Walker, other people, or other animals.
The Owner must disclose any behavioural issues, medical conditions, medication, or specific needs before the service. Dogs of a type banned or restricted under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 must be declared in advance and handled in line with the law.
3. Liability & insurance
The Walker takes reasonable care of the dog during the service and is responsible for their own negligence.
The Owner remains liable for harm caused by a dangerous trait, illness, or behaviour that was not disclosed. The Owner confirms their dog is covered by third-party pet liability insurance (often included in home insurance).
4. Health & emergencies
If the dog falls ill or is injured, the Walker will try to contact the Owner without delay. If the Owner cannot be reached, the Walker may take the dog to a vet; the Owner authorises necessary care and agrees to reimburse reasonable costs.
5. Payment & cancellation
The price is the Walker’s rate shown at booking, paid securely via Stripe. Cancellation and refund terms are those shown at checkout.
6. Data
Details provided are used only to deliver and insure the service, in line with the Paws & Claws privacy policy and UK GDPR.
